There were changes made following the A.G.M held on Friday 3rd October. The changes are as follows:
- Teams to play each other three times, instead of two.
- A coin toss at the first meeting will determine where the third meeting will take place
- The Pairs Plate has been discontinued due to lack of interest.
- Registration forms to be handed in by October 16th.
- The league will start on October 24th.
In other news, congratulations to Andy Nutley on winning the 2008 Money League. He won £90 for finishing top of the tree. Steve Ralph took the highest outshot with 160 (Peter Nutley went close on the last night with 158), and Andy Nutley, Ray Ralph and Kevin Goodall shared the most 180’s prize with 3 each.

Once again, Overton will be fielding a Sunday Super League Team. This year, Neil Watts takes charge of the team as they prepare to begin their campaign. We will have continual updates as they happen here on the website.
THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF THE OVERTON AND DISTRICT INVITATION DARTS LEAGUE WILL TAKE PLACE ON FRIDAY, 3RD OCTOBER 2008 AT 8.30PM AT THE OVERTON MEMORIAL INSTITUTE.
WE ARE HOPING TO ATTRACT NEW SOME NEW TEAMS FOR THE FORTHCOMING SEASON WHICH BEGINS AT THE END OF OCTOBER 2008.
AT THIS MEETING, REGISTRATION FORMS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR TEAMS TO ENTER THE FORTHCOMING SEASON, SO IT IS REQUESTED THAT A REPRESENTATIVE FROM EACH TEAM IS PRESENT.

Following the withdrawal of Brian Bayford and Steve Bradley from the Money League, we’re pleased to announce that Peter Nutley and Nigel Day have taken their places. Welcome to the league boys.
The website has had another update, to prepare for the start of the season soon. Details of the AGM will be announced at the end of the month, as well as the launch of the new Overton Darts League messageboard which will be opened in October.
The latest standings in the Money League are currently scrolling across the screen. Due to only 9 players turning up last Friday, a knockout competition was played. Well done to Brian Ralph who beat Neil Watts in the final.
Apologies for the site downtime. This was completely out of my hands. We are now back online, and I’ll update the Money League statistics shortly.
The 2008 Money League competition is up and running again, and the competition is fierce. Brian Bayford is the reigning champion, but there are other players battling for the title. You can see the latest statistics in the ticker at the top of the page.
